How counselling can help

People frequently seek counselling when they feel alone in their difficulties and need someone to talk to. Sometimes we feel cut off or overwhelmed by our feelings. Sometimes early life experiences need to be worked through.

Counselling can help if you are feeling stuck and unsure of next steps. You may see yourself responding, thinking, or feeling in repetitive ways that aren’t helpful or aligned with how you want to be in the world.

With counselling you will have the opportunity to explore challenging situations and work through your feelings. Together we will identify how you protect yourself (commonly called defenses), have a choice in how you respond, and learn how to communicate your needs.

I will support you in gaining insights and accessing both inner and outer resources. Together we will work towards you experiencing more authentic and fulfilling ways of being in the world.
